From Install to First Ticket in Under an Hour

After requesting your trial, you'll receive a download link by email. The package is a standard zip file containing all required files.

• Unzip the package on your computer
• Open your FTP client and connect to your web host
• Upload all files to your domain's root folder (typically public_html)
• The upload typically takes 2–5 minutes depending on your connection

No command line. No manual SQL. The installer handles everything through your browser.

• Open your browser and go to yoursite.com/install
• Enter your PostgreSQL database credentials (provided by your host)
• Create your superuser admin account (username and password)
• Click Install — all 20+ database tables are created automatically
• The installer self-deletes after completion for security

Log in with the superuser account you just created and navigate to the Properties tab.

• Click "Add Property" and enter the property name, address, and contact info
• Set property-specific ticket footer text (appears on every printed ticket)
• Upload your property logo — it converts to print format automatically
• Add towing company contacts for the property (up to 10)
• Repeat for each property in your portfolio

Create accounts for your managers and security staff. Each account is tied to specific properties.

• Go to Settings → User Management
• Create accounts with username, password, and role (Admin or Staff)
• Assign each user to the properties they manage
• Staff users only see records from their assigned properties — nothing else
• Admin users can manage their properties and create staff accounts

Set up the violation types your enforcement staff will use. Each property can have its own custom list.

• Navigate to Settings → Violations
• Add violation descriptions (e.g., "No Parking Permit Displayed")
• Set fine amounts per violation
• Set tow deadline hours (e.g., vehicle subject to tow in 24 hours)
• Violations are property-specific — different lots, different rules

Connect your Stripe account to enable QR code payment on every printed violation ticket.

• Go to Settings → Payment Settings
• Enter your Stripe publishable and secret API keys
• Enable QR code generation — takes effect immediately
• Every new VIOLATION ticket will now include a QR code for online payment
• Stripe handles all card security — MyParkingMgr never stores card numbers

Under 60 seconds from vehicle search to printed ticket.

• Navigate to the Vehicles tab and search for the plate number
• If it's a new vehicle, add it in seconds — year, make, model, color, plate
• Click "Issue Ticket" on the vehicle record
• Select the violation type(s) — fine amount auto-populates
• Choose WARNING or VIOLATION
• Review the ticket preview and click Print (thermal or browser)
• The ticket is saved, logged, and the vehicle record is updated — automatically
